I’ve recently been working with several clients facing a significant hurdle as Snowflake ramps up its security requirements. The issue? Their legacy applications simply don’t support key pair authentication with Snowflake, creating a real conundrum as we approach some important security deadlines.

Snowflake’s Security Evolution Timeline

Snowflake has laid out a clear three-stage timeline for strengthening authentication requirements, following their commitment to the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) Secure by Design pledge:
